Laughing with gusto

Charlie has been developing quite a little personality. He has this really loud and forceful laugh when he is enjoying himself. He's also starting to throw some minor tantrums on occasion in an attempt to get his way.

One of the activities that causes him to laugh so powerfully is when he follows me into the laundry room. He loves to take clothes out of the basket as I'm folding them and throw them on the ground. It's frustrating to deal with, but I had to laugh myself when I caught him running around with a pair of my underwear.

More often his object of interest in the laundry room is our swiffer broom. He just loves to pick it up and carry it around, as if he's mopping the floor for me. It's funny, because I usually clean the floor when he's napping, so I don't think he's ever really seen it used. So he can't just be modeling our behavior.

Right now he's quietly looking through books in the corner of the family room. Soon it will be time for bed.
