During my morning visit to Starbucks this morning, the cashier asked me if I had any big weekend plans. When I said I was going to Kansas City, they told me to enjoy the barbecue. That got me thinking-- would Charlie eat barbecue?
We tried fish sticks with him at home again the other night, and he was definitely interested. Funny, though-- he liked eating the insides and throwing the breading to Lucy! I may try getting some filets next time instead, so there is more fish.
This afternoon I'll pick up Charlie a little early, and head off to the airport to fly to KC. I am anxious to see how he does in the airport and on the plane, now that he's walking around. It may be a challenge for me, since John is staying home and I'll have him all by myself.
He's getting pretty good at walking himself in to Daycare in the mornings. I'll carry him to the sidewalk from the car and then he'll walk from there. It's hard to believe that it is exactly one year since he started there in the Hummingbird room.

Hey Michelle,
Have fun in KC. I was just there last week on a business trip. Only had BBQ once for lunch at Jack Stack in the plaza part of town, but it was GOOD. Highly recommend it if you're in the area.
Take care,
Jeff
