Today we met up with Oscar and his mom at the playground at Sharon Woods park, near our house. They have a splash area with little fountains for the kids to play in. I wasn't sure Charlie would take to it, since he hates to get water in his face when he's in the bath, but after a bit of hesitation at the start, he loved it! He played a little on the playground also, checking out the small slides and climbing through a tunnel. He also said hi to a nice dog who was there with his family. Charlie practiced his new word "dog" while pointing at it.
Speaking of words, Charlie is getting pretty good at saying "shhzz" for "shoes" and he'll also point to my toes when I ask him where they are. He'll pick out the ball and the dog in one of his books when you ask him to point at them.
Charlie's 15 month appointment is on Tuesday, so we'll have more news then.
John's flickr site has some good photos of today at the park.
